glint *
is out your eyes' intent : a glare
to wear (red)
rose's
mettle . . . as glitter me
this !
what black
regard ! regard
-ing my * shy tried
approach : on one shore
(windswept) : all * alone !
my cheek which to yours whispers
touches : a too * fine forest's frill to quiver
in April's winds * the hoary hairs
which arc * an ardent lace's
arabesques . . . as your
Light
is my lone light
-house here : yet warning
or still saviour sent to fortune's
Fate : who can tell ? on ruby * rocks
where the lands' few * low lights
wink to move my(sterious)
motives . . .
no * sense this makes ! * no
compliment * to your true worth : yet know
that though you may pierce me now with these
dark darts * I do ask : what love's
instrument is if not this same :
shot straight through
my heart ?
