To Mater originalis, by Augusto dos Anjos

the (rhetorical) transition from white, unrentable
narcissistic petal,
to the muttered vestige
of a leaflet of such newich varnish, the politic- editorial:
lacquer-eating tempest -

would not have occurred.

from virgo, the "major,"
grain's spike, and from an others,
maritime unfluorescences,
following the ecliptical right up to the dog,
of waters, the minor,
anular dream, from a die-given finger ando/r "sogol."  from

conception to white beaches,
neolithic co-lector, arch political, I - Eu

falo de alugar (no) céu.

Sometimes the best way is just to speak Portuguese. No one is listening anyhow. Once I had  a student who wouldn't ever listen; the class was in English so I just started to talk to him  in Spanish. Heaven forbid. The "rhetorical transition" is always political, just a change in  verbeage or a real change? The tongue is loosened. A country is "free." We're not sure.
